但據Intel 韌體系統軟體部 Manager Sharon Hsieh 表示 , Intel Nehalem 因為內件Memory 控制器!!
當Memory 電壓加壓超過 1.65V後 , 有可能會擊穿 Memory 控制器
可見Intel Nehalem再Memory設計上需在加強!!
同時也指出 intel自訂的XMP 放在X58自動失效!!
不然日後大家就不要對Memory 超頻 要不然就是一天到晚送修CPU!!

According to Intel Technical MKT manager Sharon Hsieh , with the Nehalem family cpu, due to MCH is integrated in CPU, it's sensitive to the DRAM voltage.
The voltage applied tothe DDR3 memory must not exceed 1.65V, or the chance is very high that the cpu would just die.
The fact is, the "XMP" function may very will be a headache for Intel and memory makers, since there are many XMP memory that qualified 1600/1800/2000mhz or higher, but none of them can run that speed with just 1.65V. Most of them need at least 1.9V or even 2.XV
It's a huge design problem form Intel side, hope they can FIX this issue before Nehalem family goes into market.
She recommended not to over-voltage the DRAM(1.65V), or the cpu will just keep dying.

大概跟溪水暴漲一樣的道理吧....;P..
看來 Core i7 只能配 DDR3 1333~1600左右
創見的 DDR3 1800 也都要 1.8v ....

原來是如此 那問題不小耶 本來打算出了就衝的說
看來又得等了 這就是CPU的宿命阿....想要快就要整合更多周邊匯流排或是記憶體控制器
不過整合那麼多...接下來就是可能各個匯流排或是記體體控制器所能抵抗頻率或是電壓不同
因此要是有一項超出設計範圍...那CPU就準備壽終正寢...:call:..
所以改進之道可能就是設計CPU超頻防護裝置...電壓或是頻率超出就直接略過已設定值運作
或是CPU設計成可以動態自己超頻...不讓使用者更改設定:o..
