萬普拉斯科技將在北京時間7月28日早上10點於北京正式發表一加手機2 ，雖然在之前有傳聞說這次的發表會不單單只是發表一加手機 2，可能還會有一加平板等等產品，不過從發表會的結果來看，這次發表的的確只有一加手機 2。一加手機 2 這次採用高通 Snapdragon 810，3GB/4GB LPDDR4 RAM，16GB/64GB ROM，電池容量為 3300mAh，支援雙卡雙待，5.5 吋 1080p 螢幕，鏡頭 5MP/13MP，支援指紋識別，使用USB Type- c 接頭，預裝氫OS。這次的一加手機 2 有兩個版本，一個是 3GB RAM+16GB ROM 售價人民幣 1,999 元，另一個是 4GB RAM+64GB ROM 售價人民幣 2,399 元。

一加手機 2 同樣也是採用國內旗艦標配的高通 Snapdragon 810，但是官方宣稱的「801的溫度」還有待考究。

螢幕方面依然是 1080p 的解析度，使用成本較高的 In-cell 全貼合技術，IPS-NEO，最高亮度 600 nits，對比度高達 1500:1 。

和大多數廠商一樣，一加手機 2 也把指紋識別做在了 Home 鍵上，但是又有點特別，這個 Home 鍵並非實體按鍵，無法按下，只能觸摸。
