Seagate Personal Cloud系列產品針對家用媒體儲存應用，且無論身處任何地方均可以遠端存取硬碟檔案，還可以透過串流方式分享電影、音樂與相片…等多媒體資料，備份部分可透過PC、Mac電腦、行動裝置進行資料備份，功能相當齊全，使用者可輕鬆件利屬於自己的個人雲端空間。
Seagate Personal Cloud系列產品可分兩大類單硬碟與2-Bay，單硬碟部分有3TB、4TB與5TB可選擇，2-Bay部分則有6TB與8TB可選擇，產品頂部設有 LED 指示燈號顯示裝置工作狀態，後方設有電源接口、Gigabit Ethernet網絡連接與一組USB2.0，右側設有一組USB 3.0，USB可進行資料備份，或連接印表機作列印分享。

Personal Cloud可以像一般NAS一樣安裝App軟體，讓應用更加廣泛，不過目前App軟體還不算多，所以期待未來會再加入更多App軟體，App的安裝與一般NAS一樣相當簡單與輕鬆，可輕鬆找到想要的App軟體並安裝，也可使用手動安裝方式來安裝軟體。

IFTTT簡單來說就是當指定的社群網站或是雲端空間如果有更新的時候，則可以指定要做什麼動作，就像如果如果Personal Cloud與IFTTT做連結，則當FB或是雲端空間有新的檔案與照片時，可以直接同步到Personal Cloud內，這個功能相當的方便，可以輕鬆備份網路上想要的資料。

Seagate Personal Cloud應用層面相當廣泛，在家中Personal Cloud是一台非常稱職的多媒體中心，透過串流功能就可以將資料做分享，出門在外也可透過網路隨時存取Personal Cloud內的資料，並可做多媒體線上播放；還可利用USB做資料備份功能，不僅如此更可遇市面上雲多服務Dropbox與Google Drive做線上資料同步，可讓使用者將所有雲端空間做整合；Personal Cloud還內建了BT下載功能，讓使用者下載BT不用再準備一台電腦，有Personal Cloud就可以取代下載機器，並可以直接將現在好的檔案使用串流或是行動裝置App就可線上播放，操作簡單又方便；整體來說Personal Cloud是一台操作與安裝都相當簡單容易的設備，安裝部分僅需安裝網路與電源即可，操作介面相當人性化，且不會有太繁雜的設定，再加上有著不錯的效能表現與穩定性，讓Personal Cloud有著不錯的CP值，如果還需要簡單的NAS備份功能則可以選擇2-Bay的產品，原廠提供三年保固，有任何後續服務問題可直接找Seagate處理。
