ASUS發售nForce 500 SLI搭載Socket AM2對應主機板「M2N-E SLI」
ASUS開始發售搭載NVIDIA nForce 500 SLI 的Socket AM2對應主機板「M2N-E SLI」。搭載的晶片組「nForce 500 SLI」為「nForce 500」系列最低階的一款產品,不過與「nForce 550」不支援的SLI對應是其特徵。
晶片組採用了之前所謂的「nForce 500 SLI」。CPU插槽為Socket AM2。記憶體支援DDR2-800/667/533×4(最大8GB)。 擴充插槽為PCI Express(x16)×2，PCI Express(x1)×2，PCI×2。其他內建方面支援USB2.0，IEEE1394ａ，GbitLAN，SATA II RAID(0/1/0+1/5)，8ch音效等。
另外在主機板上也搭載做為Windows Vista的高速化機能的ReadyBoost用的USB Flash裝置(512MB)的，另外主機板上電容全部採用固態電容也是特色之一
