Department of Industrial Engineering & Engineering Management at National Tsing Hua University is the highest ranked IE department in Taiwan. The graduate programs cover Information & Operations Research, e-Business & Operations Management, Ergonomics & Safety Management, and Engineering Management. The Department is looking for a few faculty members with outstanding potential or achievements. Applications are invited for tenure-track or tenured positions in areas of industrial engineering and engineering management. Aside from rigorous researches, faculty members are expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in both Chinese and English. A Ph.D. degree in related field(s) is required. The level of appointment will be commensurate with the qualifications of the appointee. All ranks are considered. However, young Ph.D. holders with outstanding background and potential are particularly welcome. Applicants should have solid theoretical background and demonstrated expertise in at least one modern application area in either manufacturing or service sectors.
An application should include: 1) A curriculum vitae with a publication list with indexed journals indicated; 2) Statements of research & teaching interests/objectives clearly indicating the research area(s) and courses/levels able to teach; 3) 3 letters of recommendations; and 4) A transcript for graduate studies.
