Several professional technical writing specialists are wanted to help writing, and editing technical documents in biomedicine, engineering, natural sciences and management/social sciences.
Candidate Requirements
* Doctoral or master degree or equivalent in related disciplines.
* Demonstrated performance in prior professional technical writing experiences in related areas.
* Well organized and proactive in precise and timely execution of assigned projects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with faculty and researchers.
* Willing to learn and develop administrative skills.
* Effective application and extensive experiences in editing software such as MS Word, Excel, etc.
Job Summary
Technical writing specialists will work closely with NCKU faculty researchers and staff to proofread, revise, and edit English technical documents for journal and book publication, course syllabus and materials, web contents, and other technical and administrative needs. Candidates familiar with web skills are welcome but not required. When creating, updating and revising documentation, technical writing specialists are required to adhere to specific formats and guidelines, and ensure accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and high quality.
