[XF] 技嘉Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4...偷偷來...

GIGABYTE now presents the latest Intel X58 chipset MB series...GIGABYTE "GA-EX58-UD4" Motherboard, focus on the retail market, the GA-EX58-UD4 also comes with the affordable price and become a good Core i7 Platform for choice, today I got the motherboard and just take some pics to show the features, spend some time and take a look :)) and there is a funny thing, UD4 do not support the NV SLI function, but I found a easy way to enable the SLI...Let's see...


GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD4...Nice layout and color, I love the baby blue and white on the DIMM.

Revolution energy saving design with DES Advanced featuring hardware based Dynamic 4-Gear switching.
Supports 3 channel DDR3 2000+ memory by 6 DIMMs, And you can also find 2-phase here.
Southbridge is the ICH10R, SATAII Port x8....6 by ICH10R, 2 by SATA CHIP from GIGABYTE.
Close Look on the SATA Port, the color is also the same type.
GA-EX58 comes with 2* PCI-E x16 slot and 1* PCI-E x4 slot, it officially supports the ATI CrossFireX, later I will make it on the SLI...

Now I would like to present something special...first of all, I use a ATI 4870 GDDR5 1GB to test the PCI-E functions.
GA-EX58-UD4 can find the 4870 and works fine with the score on 3DMark06 below:
The "Dual Bios" design. Sometimes the overclockers may meet the BIOS crash problem, most of the case we need to send the motherboard to RMA and flash it, but with "Dual Bios" function, you can easily overcome this kind of cases. It will protect the BIOS and do the automatic backup in the POST screen.


You will need this 2 file to make the GA-EX58-UD4 enabled the SLI...
Just run it under the DOS system, just follow the steps and it is fast to complete.
Now I change the VGA cards to 2*8800GTX...Sorry that I do not have the GTX295 for you guys...XD...
The SLI function is working now, sorry that I use a Chinese XP but I believe the pic talks itself...
The SLI enable, please check the NV Panel and GPU-Z for details.
3DMark06 works fine...Now...I change my new GA-EX58-UD4 to...to a SLI one...XD...
Download now and try it if you get the UD4 motherboard...XD...
