The Oculus Rift Compatibility Tool can make sure your Windows PC is Rift ready. The app is portable so no installation needed. While you might think your computer is a beast (I did) you might want to run this tool before dropping your cash on a Rift. It turns out my now 2-3 year old i7 processor and my NVIDIA 660 TI aren’t good enough. While my computer can run any game out there with everything on at great speeds, it’s not good enough for Rift. My SSD does wonders running whatever I throw at it but my PC is technically aging as far as new technology goes. So, even if you\\\'re sure, i\\\'d double check with this tool.
