【綜合簡測】2021年上半年PCIe Gen4.0x4 效能型TLC NVMe SSD效能大亂評(2)~~Intel Z590篇 (圖多)
繼前篇AMD X570平台測試,本篇轉以測試Z590平台。其實自己之前曾測試過X570與Z590在儲存裝置上的效能差異,才發現兩者發展的方向似乎
有所不同。

為了讓看倌們對於溫度看得更仔細些,另外作張圖表。若以主機板廠商內
建的SSD散熱機制,連續高負載運作最高溫的變成是SN850,其次是VP4100,
最涼的是VP4300。高溫王與X570平台相比換人作,很意外吧。

測試環境簡述:
M/B: ASUS MAXIMUS XIII Hero BIOS 0605
CPU: i7-11700K
RAM: GSkill DDR4-3000 8G*4
OS SSD: Samsung 980 PRO 1TB
測試碟:各家SSD,均接在直連CPU通道的NVMe SSD插槽
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise 20H2 64-bit
Driver: Windows Defaut NVMe Driver
以下測試分為幾個部分作評比:循序讀寫、4K讀寫、應用軟體整合項目,
這其中又會分為不可壓縮及壓縮環境兩個子項目,這樣合計拆分為八個
測試組別。第九個組別,是某些軟體提供混合環境。
(一)非壓縮環境,循序讀寫測試:
AIDA64 線性讀寫測試,設定檔案容量為8MB。
線性讀取平均速率以VP4300表現最好,MP600 PRO與VP4100分居第二及第
三名;線性寫入的平均速率,980 PRO險勝MP600 PRO獲冠,SN850與前兩
名還是有一定的差距。

Anvils軟體裡,循序讀取以MP600 PRO最快,VP4300其次;循序寫入則是
VP4300平均表現最佳,MP600 PRO含恨屈居亞軍,980 PRO轉為墊底。

AIDA64 隨機讀寫測試,設定檔案容量為8MB。隨機讀取平均速率是VP4300

環境的讀取速率反倒是VP4300最快。但是VP4300寫入異常的弱,寫入都是

分別由MP600 PRO及VP4100包辦,980 PRO只能拿到第三名;寫入測試則是
以MP600 PRO平均表現最好。

不論是AIDA64 Read Test Suite 1MB環境,或是AIDA64 Read Test Suite
8MB環境,線性讀取速率幾乎都是VP4300O表現最好,隨機讀取不論是那
個環境全是VP4300險勝MP600 PRO而獲勝。

AS SSD的Copy Benchmark,ISO複製傳輸980 PRO與SN850在不同環境中各
有領先。程式載入則是SN850與MP600 PRO各自廝殺,遊戲載入測試則是
SN850及VP4300互有領先。若以存取時間觀察,980 PRO在多數測試裡
大多是最慢的。

以970 EVO Plus為測試基準,在Z90平台將所有的變數納入測試,無疑地
仍是MP600 PRO最快,主因於受惠於其壓縮優異主控所帶來的助力。

若將所有的Burst排除於測試時,這時MP600 PRO還是最快,VP4100還是贏
過980 PRO及SN850。

如果將所有壓縮測試排除,MP600 PRO的效能縮減少了將近20%,與其它人
的領先幅度明顯的縮減,SN850似乎在這一代主控中也納入了壓縮加速的
功能,因此拿掉後,SN850小輸給980 PRO。

最後將壓縮功能及Burst選項都拿掉,MP600 PRO效能又再縮減一些,意外
地是VP4300在經過所有篩選後幾乎維持在第二名,第三名則是980 PRO。

因此,若以今年上半年主控來看,Phison E18主控效能在多數測試軟體
中無疑是最強的,新起之秀InnoGrit IG5236初試啼聲也表現不凡,只是
目前市售IG5236主控的SSD,某家產品在Z590平台相容性在我測試時表現
很差。980 PRO這次在PCIe Gen 4.0x4的第二代產品線讓出了以往的霸主。
可是,你問我會不會選Phison E18主控當主力SSD使用,我以測試當時的
結果,應該會回答"不會"。。。何也?
雖然各家在2TB保固寫入的條件大同小異,然後透過常見的Crystal DiskInfo
這套軟體檢測,可以發現Pison E18主控的耐寫度不佳,不論是MP600 PRO
或是其它同款主控的SSD幾乎都很不耐寫,健康度掉很快,期待未來上市
的Seagate FireCude 530能扭轉我心中不良印象。VP4300的耐寫度在這批
測試中也算不差,得到第三名、第二名是SN850。妖怪級的王者是Samsumg
980 PRO,雖然它是TLC顆粒的SSD,耐寫度異常的高,寫入超過31TB後健康
度還是維持100%,彌補了三星PRO系列以往都是MLC顆粒,這一世代換成TLC
的小小缺憾。
