1 Industrial Postdoctoral Fellowship for Protein Chemists.

NHRI Vaccine Center has opening in the industrial postdoctoral fellowship for protein chemists. We would like the candidates to have the following trainings:

1.Hand-on experience in molecular biology (cloning and expressing recombinant proteins)

2.Basic knowledge in protein chemistry (interesting in protein structure and function)

3.Some knowledge in protein characterization (mass spectroscopy, CD and HPLC protein purification)

We expect the postdoctoral fellows to work and be trained with the senior staff in the Vaccine Center to establish the Bioanalytical core facility which currently has 3 mass spectrometers (LC-MS, MALDI-TOP and Waters HDMS), a Jasco CD, HP GC-MS, peptide synthesizer, Waters HPLC for amino acid composition analysis, HP HPLC for protein purity analysis, an ultra-centrifugation and other basic equipments for protein chemistry).

We invite and encourage all recent PhD graduates to apply and join us to develop Taiwan Vaccine Industry. The pay scale and benefit will be similar to NHRI or NSC postdoctoral fellowship grade depending on the qualifications.
