TechPowerUp專為Intel處理器開發的溫度檢測工具Real Temp今天放出了最新版本3.70。利用處理器每個核心整合的數字熱敏傳感器(DTS)，它不但能檢測出各個核心溫度，還能給出當前溫度與最高安全溫度TJMAX的距離，提醒用戶注意散熱。
Real Temp 3.70最大的變化就是加入了對Intel Sandy Bridge系列處理器的完善支持(有點兒太晚了)，同時更新RealTemp GT，支持六核心的Sandy Bridge-E系列。
其它更新之處包括：
－ 根據VID電壓估算新處理器的功耗
－ 改進日誌文件格式
－ 增加一個系統通知區域圖標，報告最高核心溫度。
－ 新的i7 Turbo GT 1.30倍頻監控工具。



Description：

RealTemp is a temperature monitoring program designed for all Intel single Core, dual Core and quad Core processors. Each core on these processors has a digital thermal sensor (DTS) that reports temperature data relative to TjMax which is the safe maximum operating core temperature for the CPU. As your CPU heats up, your Distance to TjMax will decrease. If it reaches zero your processor will start to throttle or slow down so obviously maximizing your distance away from TjMax will help your computer to run at full speed and more reliably too.


This software can analyze the temperature of each processor core, therefore users can rest assured that the reading is accurate and that they can act upon it by lowering the consumption. High processor temp translates in reduced speed and even delays when launching new apps or when using open programs.

Alternatively, Real Temp can be used to test the status of a processor by running a stress test via a third-party application that needs to be downloaded separately. This test is meant to verify the way the processor behaves when it is fully used.
